For my audience research we gathered questions together that related to our Horror trailer idea. We started off by adding our questions to an online survey called Survey Monkey, this was really successful as we got a range of answers from a range of people from all different ages. But putting a questionnaire on the internet has a lot of flaws, as you don't know who it is that is answering the questions. I think that if you wanted too see what type of people were taking the questionnaire you could have maybe had a face to face interview with people. This would also help you get a range of ideas and suggestions from them as you are taking to them one by one. Also we word prossessed the quesstions and handed them out to a range of students ages between 16 and 19, this was also successful as we got a range of feed back from our own age range making us understand what teenagers like to see in horror films. This was better as we saw the people taking the questionnaire but on the other hand we could have asked them what they would do for a trailer to compose some more ideas and to get more involved with the person taking the questionnaire. As well as this we posted the survey on Facebook, i didnt think that this idea worked very well as many people didnt do the survey. As on social networks people are not interested in taking a survey. I think that a better idea would have been to maybe get a group of different aged people together and asked them as a group what they wanted to see in a horror trailer as this would have been more efficient and we could have got a lot more answers from a bigger range of people. I think that we got a wide range of results through displaying our survey in many different ways. But i do think that we could have displayed our survey in different ways so that we could get a much wider range of results and ideas to improve our trailer ideas at this stage. The feedback we have recieved is all good and relates to our ideas for our horror movie trailer at this stage of the task. I feel that taking all the answers to these questionnaire in is good as this well help us create something that most of the population will like depending on there likes and dislikes of horror.

Word possessed?!??! Good, although your evaluation of your research could be developed further. For exampe what would be different if you conducted face-to-face interviews or used a focus group?
