Of course the house is an old one and the return of the past and secrets hidden within it is a classic horror narrative idea. You should mention this. Attics too are a classic symbol for buried or repressed crimes, desires etc. For the inter-titles it would be worth mentioning the direct address in the second person "you" which draws the audience in directly. Finally notes the expressive camerawork and strange angles.
